Jerry Trimble Helicopters operates a Part 61 flight school offering fixed and rotor-wing flight training. We maintain a fleet of sixteen helicopters and five fixed-wing aircraft. In addition to the flight school, JTH holds 133 and 135 certificates and offers maintenance services to the general public with an emphasis on Robinson Helicopters. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals
• Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain complete functioning equipment according to technical data provided by the customer
• Properly complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with FAA requirements

Disclosure:

• Duties are performed in either indoor or outdoor environments.  The mechanic may be exposed to routine office noises, moderate electrical or mechanical hazards, and frequent exposure to an aircraft hangar environment where the mechanic may be exposed to loud aircraft noise, fumes, gases, odors, dust particles, and mechanical/electrical and chemical hazards.   

The ideal candidate for this position will:

• Hold both airframe and powerplant certifications
• Have a working knowledge of aircraft structures and systems
• Be able to multi-task
• Possess basic hand tools
• Have a working knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 91 & 43
• Have previous mechanical experience and an above-average mechanical aptitude.
• Be physically fit and able to lift 50-75 pounds
• Possess the ability to maintain a high degree of organization
• Be self-motivated, follow instructions, ask questions, and have the ability to adapt to a fluid work environment
• Have a positive attitude and desire to learn and improve.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism
