AirFlair, Inc. has a 44 year history in Part 135 Air Carrier Operations, Corporate Management & Maintenance, located at the Sioux County Regional Airport in Maurice, Iowa and has an immediate opening for an A&P aircraft mechanic. The ideal candidate must have an A&P Certificate and experience with various general aviation aircraft is a plus.
Qualifications should include a strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability. Inspector Authorization (IA) is a plus along with strong skills in troubleshooting, performing repairs and conducting routine aircraft maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our growing aircraft fleet which range from piston single to twin turboprop and Citation 500 & 560XL series aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various mechanical tasks.
- Document all work performed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks, reference technical materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, SB & ADs, etc.)
