Aviation Technician - Dallas, TX!Job Description
We are seeking experienced A&P mechanics, preferably with fixed-wing experience (jets, planes). Prior military candidates are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge and skills in repairing airframe, engines, structural, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems. Experience at an intermediate or depot level of maintenance is desired.
Responsibilities
- Utilize various hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
- Remove and install aircraft panels.
- Conduct aircraft inspections.
- Operate and test engines and APUs.
- Troubleshoot aircraft faults and perform Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP).
- Operate aircraft tugs.
Essential Skills- Broad knowledge in airframe, engines, structural, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems repair.
- Intermediate or depot level maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- Ability to remove and install aircraft panels.
- Experience in conducting aircraft inspections.
- For civilian aircraft maintenance experience, preferred Embraer, Phenom.
- For military aircraft maintenance experience, preferred aircraft includes: F-18, F/A-18, F-16, F-15, F-22, F-35, C-130, KC-135, E-3, E-2, EA-18, B-1, B-52.
- Mechanically inclined.
Shift:- 1st Shift: 7:30AM-3:30PM - You will most likely move off 1st after training! Must be open to others
- 2nd shift: 3p-11p
- Weekends Fri-Sun 7a-7p (work 36, paid for 40)
