Job Description:

Foster Aviation is looking for a certified technician with an IA or IA eligable, who performs maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircrafts including engines and airframes. They are responsible for a wide range of tasks, from routine maintenance to major repairs, and must follow strict safety and documentation guidelines.

Minimum 3 years experience preferred.

Job Requirements:
  • Airframe Maintenance: Repairing and maintaining the structural components of an aircraft, such as the fuselage, wings, landing gear, and brakes. This includes work on sheet metal and composite materials. 
  • Powerplant (engine) Maintenance: Inspecting, servicing, and repairing aircraft engines, including both reciprocating and turbine types. 
  • Inspections: Conducting routine inspections, as well as performing annual and major inspections to ensure the aircraft meets airworthiness standards. 
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems. 
  • Documentation: Accurately recording all findings, repairs, and test results in QuantuMX and logbooks.
  • Systems maintenance: Working on various aircraft systems, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
