525 Flight Electrician/Mechanic
Bring your technical expertise and join our 525 Flight Operations Team. This role will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing avionics systems that perform communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic flight-control functions. In addition, will inspect, service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair aircraft batteries, AC/DC power generation, conversion and distribution systems, as well as the electrical control and indication functions of all airframe systems, including hydraulics, flight control, landing gear, fuel, environmental control, power plant, drive train, anti-ice, and fire detection. Ground handling and servicing of aircraft, conducting routine aircraft inspections is required. Will support flight line operations to include servicing, launching and recovery of aircraft.
What youll be doing as a 525 Flight Electrician/Mechanic:
- Run daily aircraft tests and record aircraft status
- Install, fit, and adjust all types of parts and assemblies where difficult and diversified installations, alignments or adjustments are necessary
- Perform difficult repairs and alterations per design changes, removing the required parts and making replacements
- Work from blueprints or projects sketches and templates without the use of jigs or fixtures
- Work to crew loads and follow written and verbal work instructions
- Perform scheduled/unscheduled inspections
- Install and test Gearboxes, Drive shafts, Fuel Systems, Electrical harnesses and Systems, Hydraulic Components, and other Systems
- Perform Functional Testing of certain Systems
- Drill close tolerance holes using a variety of hand drills
- Install multiple types of fasteners into composite and sheet metal
- Perform composite and fiberglass bond layup or repair
- Support outside rotors turning operations on aircraft in flight status
