As a Ramp Safety Coordinator with LSG Sky Chefs you will help drive safety and compliance across our ramp operations! In this position, you’ll be the champion of driver SOPs, ensuring every team member follows best practices and meets regulatory standards. You’ll lead impactful training sessions for new drivers and provide re-training to keep everyone sharp and compliant. Your attention to detail will shine as you maintain accurate driver files, process Port Authority and Customs IDs, and keep all state inspections, registrations, and insurance documents up to date. You’ll also ensure drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures and collaborate closely with the Ramp Safety Supervisor on safety initiatives. • Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers• Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files• Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications• Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance ID’s for trucks are current• Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures• Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned
• High School Diploma or equivalent• Mus possess a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire• 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications• Ability to work with minimum supervision• Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills• Detail oriented• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups – must be flexible• Open availability, ability to work nights and weekends as operations require• Usual shift will be 4am - 1230pm and schedule will be either Wed-Sun or Thurs-Mon
