Job Title: Warehouse Tool Clerk (2nd Shift)Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Tool Clerk for our 2nd shift, working from Wednesday to Saturday, 4pm to 2:30am. The primary role involves managing inventory and signing tools in and out for mechanics using our computer system. Additional tasks include cycle counting, picking tools, calibrating tools, verifying stock, and working closely with the inventory. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential, and being bilingual is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Check inventory and sign tools in and out to mechanics.
- Utilize the computer system for tool management.
- Perform cycle counting and tool picking.
- Calibrate tools and verify stock levels.
- Inspect returned tools for damage and missing parts.
- Work with inventory and perform data entry tasks.
- Receive work orders on a tablet and provide necessary tools.
- Participate in forklift and scissor lift training.
- Assist in the warehouse operations as needed.
Essential Skills
- Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Proficiency in data entry and utilizing inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections for safety purposes.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to work in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Receiving inspection experience.
- Experience in cycle counting and parts picking for technicians.
- Familiarity with parts staging.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Work Environment
Work in a state-of-the-art, clean, well-lit, and organized facility. Due to the nature of our hangers, the environment can be chilly or hot depending on the season, so extra clothing layers are recommended in winter. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes, steel-toed boots, or gym shoes, along with jeans without rips or tears, and comfortable work shirts. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
