PCC is relentless in its dedication to being a high-quality, low-cost and on-time producer; delivering the highest value to its customers while continually pursuing strategic, profitable growth.
In 2016, Berkshire Hathaway, led by Chairman and CEO Warren E. Buffett, acquired Precision Castparts Corp.
Fatigue Technology (FTI) initially started out as a wire forming company in a Seattle garage. We officially entered into the aerospace industry in 1969 after assisting in pioneering in the cold expansion process. After inventing the first machine to manufacture the split sleeve and making the cold expansion process possible, development continued and we began to sell and distribute the tooling used in this process.
Over the last 45+ years, we have patented aerospace products such as ForceMate (bushing installation system), ForceTec (rivetless nut plates), TukLoc (blind fastener system), GromEx (composite hole inserts), and FleXmate (fitting and hardware installation system). FTI’s products can be found on almonst every major airplane and helicopter program on the market today and continues to push the cold expansion envelope with new and innovative products for tomorrow’s advance composite air structures.
In 2008, FTI was sold to Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC).
