Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Plan, schedule, and monitor movement of material through the production schedule.
Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedule.
Set up and maximize use of MRP system to create job sequences, schedule jobs, monitor on-time performance, and drive automation of material forecast.
Release jobs to support programs and provide weekly status of all jobs in queue.
Enter purchase requisitions for parts, materials, and tooling requirements.
Develop detailed material demand forecasts working from high level project schedules.
Experience with hazardous and oversized freight.
Use ERP/MRP system for materials and inventory management (Oracle preferred).
Apply lean manufacturing philosophies and tools.
Work in composite aircraft manufacturing environments (plus).
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Experience developing detailed material demand forecasts from high level project schedules.
Experience working in a cross functional, highly matrixed environment.
Expert level Excel skills (programming macros a plus).
Experience using ERP/MRP system for materials and inventory management (Oracle preferred).
Experience with hazardous and oversized freight.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing philosophies and tools.
Experience in composite aircraft manufacturing environments (preferred).
Ability to enter purchase requisitions for parts, materials, and tooling.
Ability to release jobs, monitor queue status, and update as required.
