Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a leading designer and manufacturer of focal plane arrays and flight-based camera systems supporting a myriad of defense, surveillance, space, and weather tracking applications.  RVS is split into two manufacturing operations groups: (1) Focal Plane Operations & (2) Camera & Sensor Packaging.  This role functions as an individual contributor and reports directly to the FPO Production Control Manager.  The prospective hire will perform production control and material control (PCMC) functions in support of programs assembled within the Focal Plane Operations manufacturing group.

What You Will Do

• Physically move material between labs and between buildings within the RVS Goleta campus. 
• Responsible for digitally logging each movement ensuring correct placement and traceability of material is maintained.
• Physically access the lab environment to perform hardware cycle counts
• Physically access the lab environment to retrieve and deliver material
• Coordinate efforts with factory support teams to ensure urgent WIP material is moved to the next assembly in a timely manner.
• Facilitate weekly shipments to internal C&SP customers.
• This position is an onsite role in our Goleta, CA facility.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience. 
• Experience in material handling, material transport, and/or part processing
• Experience with Microsoft Excel

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with fragile material movement and handling
• Prior experience with EYELIT, CMES or MES system
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing or distribution center environment
• Strong communication skills both written and oral

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 118,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
