As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting several operational areas in a large commercial aircraft Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) facility. This facility performs heavy maintenance on 737 aircraft, as well as repair and overhaul of related systems and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Move product using a forklift
• Pick, pull, and issue parts kits and materials, either at the counter or delivering to the hangar floor
• Use ERP system to track products
• Update material and parts reports in Gateway
• Issue tools and track inbound/outbound
• Deliver aircraft parts to various buildings and perform cycle counts
• Fill out HAZMAT paperwork
• Assist with shipment preparations, including packing, boxing, and crating
• Use common tools such as utility knives, vises, and saws for boxing and crating
• Respond to emails and verbal questions from production about parts, tooling, and chemicals

• 1+ years of warehouse operation and clerical experience
• Experience with inventory management
• Forklift operation
• Cycle counts
• Packing
• Valid drivers license
• Experience operating pallet jacks
• Proficient in using computers for work orders and inventory
• Comfortable with basic tool use for boxing and crating
• Able to lift 25lbs unassisted regularly and 50lbs unassisted occasionally
• Willing to obtain Forklift certification (provided onsite) within 60 days of hire

Work Environment

You will work in aircraft MRO hangars and attached storerooms and operational areas. The standard working hours are from 0700 to 1530, Monday to Friday. The role involves regular lifting and use of various tools in a warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Washington.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.57/hr.
