Sr. Aircraft Upholstery Technician

Job Description:

Responsible for the repair, replacement, and refurbishment of the upholstery found within an aircraft.
This includes seats, carpeting, curtains, and other fabric or leather elements of an aircraft’s interior.
Tasks include measuring and cutting materials, sewing fabrics, and installing finished upholstery pieces.
All work performed is Hangar Maintenance
Guaranteed 40 Hours a Week
Overtime is Available
$400 Travel Pay on 1st Paycheck
Paid Holidays after 90 Days
$500 Longevity/Attendance/Safety Bonus after 6 Months
$1000 Longevity/Attendance/Safety Bonus after 1 Year

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as an Upholsterer, preferably within the aviation industry.
Knowledge of upholstery techniques and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to interpret and work according to design specifications.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Understanding of safety standards and regulations in aviation upholstery.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Formal Training in Aircraft Upholstery is a Plus
Must have 6 years experience
Must be willing to work on weekends if it is needed
Experience in an MRO environment Preferred
Must be able to accomplish all standard tasks, repairs, and/or modifications with minimal or no supervision
