- To support the Commercial team in maintaining optimum tariffs in the UK spanet to help achieve the companys commercial objectives.
- Execute fare & fare conditions publishing on emirates.com as required (BAU fares and Tactical sale).
Provide recommendations for tactical fares initiatives where necessary and support with UK Tactical Sale Planning (fare calculations and T&Cs). - To ensure all fares filing is done on timely basis through all channels including EGW and GDS NDC’s.
- To create Dotmailer and distribute to trade with latest EK updates including fares.
- To manage Emirates Gateway queries by liaising with HO team and trade partners.
- Train new Emirates Gateway agents with bookings procedures
- To ensure quarterly fares review is done of all trade partners and share the data with commercial and sales managers to review if targets are achieved or not.
- Produce weekly & monthly reports by agents of forward, ticketed bookings with DDS/MIDT.
- To use existing and create new Micro strategy reports as and when required.
- Provide spanet research statistics on all competitor fares/ special offers/Rules/Fare development/Market Share.
- Prepare fare proposals as required and coordinate all relevant administration between HO and the UK using all available tools including Airfare / Infare.
Qualification- ‘A’ level standard of education or equivalent
- Experience in an airline sales environment or in a similar commercial role
- Experience in Airline Pricing
- Excellent knowledge in Tariffs/Rules and Ticketing
- A good knowledge of Fare construction, Refunds and Pro rates
- A mandatory understanding of the internet, e-commerce, direct sales and spaneting
- Ability to analyze data and prepare analytical reports, covering spanet shares and trends.
- Knowledge of GDS
- Advanced skills in the use of MS office applications, in particular Excel
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
