Your key responsibilities – Fixed Assets focus

• Act as a Fixed Assets subject-matter expert within the Finance Transformation program
• Design, standardize, and implement group-wide Fixed Assets accounting processes across Lufthansa Group companies

• Define and maintain Fixed Assets data models, structures, and master data standards (e.g. asset classes, depreciation areas, useful lives)
• Lead and perform mapping of Fixed Assets processes from local systems to SAP S/4HANA
• Support the implementation of a unified accounting and controlling system with a strong focus on Fixed Assets (S/4HANA Asset Accounting)
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements related to Fixed Assets
• Collaborate closely with Controlling, Tax, Accounting, and IT
• Apply business management and BI methods to design innovative reporting and steering solutions
• Act as a key point of contact for Group companies and central finance departments regarding Fixed Assets
• Provide training and knowledge transfer

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
• 2-3 years of experience in Fixed Assets accounting (mandatory)
• Understanding of Fixed Assets lifecycle: capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, retirements
• Knowledge of IFRS for Fixed Assets (e.g. IAS 16, component accounting)

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting or comparable ERP systems
• Experience in Finance Transformation, ERP rollout, or process standardization projects is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of the airline industry is a plus
• English (min. B2)
• Willingness to travel
