We are hiring a Systems Engineer in Pittsfield, MA to support the Regional Strike Program focused on advanced defense systems integration, verification, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). This role requires experience with systems engineering lifecycle processes, requirements management, MBSE tools, hardware/software integration, system validation, Agile engineering, and cross-functional technical collaboration supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Support system test and integration activities, including hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing
- Assist with requirements engineering, including documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements
- Contribute to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities such as system modeling, simulations, and design analysis
- Support hardware systems engineering, including design integration, troubleshooting, and system-level analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across systems, hardware, software, and test disciplines
- Apply systems engineering principles, technical standards, and development processes to support program objectives
- Participate in Agile engineering environments where applicable
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) field
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance required at time of hire
- 2+ years of systems engineering or related experience
- Technical Skills:
- Systems engineering concepts, principles, and technical standards
- Requirements management tools
- System modeling tools / MBSE environments
- Experience working in Agile development environments preferred
