Model Based Engineer (MBE) who has 6-8years (Senior Lead) experience in building physics-based models using first principle approach and build system models using library component available in commercial tools like MATLAB Simulink, Simscape/AMESim/Dymola/GTSuit etc. It is good to have knowledge of mechanical products (Ex: Landing gear, Actuators, Hydraulic/Pneumatic Valves, Slat-Flap system, Engine, Transmission, pumps, etc.,) or mechanical systems in automobile or aerospace industry. Candidate exposure to Mechanical, electrohydraulic and electro pneumatic system modeling in Simscape is an added advantage. Candidate should have experience in leading the projects and also, mentoring, or training the engineers based on project objectives. Exposure to controls system modeling is added advantage. Candidate should have exposure to basics of CAD tools like NX, Pro-e to gather input parameters for building system/component model.
Position: Senior Lead Engineer (P3)
Role & Responsibilities:
Working closely with the global stakeholders to gather requirements, planning and develop plant and controller models for various Aircraft systems like Landing system, Slat and Flap actuation system, Electromechanical actuators, Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems etc.
Performance analysis, system robustness studies using system models and give design inputs for product development.
Technical and business proposal preparation for advance methods development, Innovation & Paper publication.
Technical mentoring of junior engineers.
Participate in internal CoP and external professional bodies.
Lead projects with ability to deliver the results within cost and schedule with quality.
Support creation of Standard works, Lessons Learnt documents and Check lists.
Domain Knowledge & Skills:
Experienced in Physics based plant & controls model development of Mechanical systems like actuation system, landing gear, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experienced in model validation/correlation of system models.
More than 7 years of experience in Modelling and Simulation tools like MATLAB Simulink, Simscape or similar simulation environment.
Experienced in Matlab or Python based scripting.
Hands on experience in FMU based model exchange will be an added advantage.
Critical thinker, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Analyze, monitor, and improve efficiency, stability of the system.
Good communication skills.
Qualification:
BE/B.Tech/Masters in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical with Control systems
