Position Summary
Position Summary:
Support Quality Dept. in process qualification, documentation, troubleshooting, and failure analysis. Component part inspection and analysis of historical results for tracking and trending of supplier quality.

Responsibilities:
Main project - Work alongside quality managers to reduce count defects on shipping errors made in both the Lancaster and Haverhill sites, address supplier IPML hits as identified and control risk on critical parts with preventive action projects.
Work as an effective member of the quality team, learn and support non-conformances, returns, documentation updates for the site, calibration, and incoming inspection.
- Learn about and be an active member of the natural quality team High Performace Team (HPT), lead this team in late summer 2025 (FY2026 Q1).
- Learn about and be an active member of Quality Starpoint in Lancaster, attend scrap council (MRB) meetings, Gensuite (continuous improvement program) reviews, and work on projects on a cross-site team.
1. Reviews engineering and manufacturing documentation to ensure clarity, and complete compliance with requirements, documents discrepancies and forwards to appropriate personnel for action.
2. Walk targeted processes to create documentation and assist in cell / team improvements.
3. Troubleshoot parts issues using statistical problem-solving techniques and work with QE to determine root cause and corrective action.
4. Completes and documents product and process audits per schedule and assist with improvement opportunities.
5. Assists in ensuring that the site meets the maintenance and compliance requirements for ISO 9001 certifications.
6. Participates in Zero Defects and Lean initiatives / Kaizens as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: • College Student, prefer entering junior or senior year• Engineering degree in process, Mechanical, Industrial or Electromechanical Engineering preferred
SKILLS:• Excellent statistical analysis skills; Excel, Access or Minitab• Must be able to read a Bill of Materials and Engineering drawings• Good communication, computer (Microsoft Office) & interpersonal skills required• Familiarity with basic measurement and inspection tools, gauges and devices

- Pay Range: $14.85/hr to $24.75/hr
