* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 3-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, Materials Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
* 3-5 years of experience utilizing Procure-to-Pay or SAP systems
* 3-5 years of experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office applications
* Willingness to travel to client and supplier sites as required
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Experience supporting supply chain quality engineering activities
* Ability to perform defect resolution through root cause corrective action implementation
* Quality MRB certification
* Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt
* ASQ Certified Quality Engineer Job Duties & Functions
* Apply quality engineering principles across design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, inventory control, and research and development activities
* Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models, designs, drawings, and procedures
* Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality-related issues
* Support product failure investigations, material review board activities, and corrective and preventive action processes
* Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and compliance requirements
* Develop strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity
* Evaluate quality systems to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions
* Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment
* Conduct product quality testing and statistical analysis on products or materials that do not meet required standards
* Participate in supplier selection processes and maintain supplier certification programs
* Support supply chain quality initiatives and supplier performance improvement activities Physical Requirements & Environment
* Work remotely with travel to client and supplier sites as required
* Work a 5/40 first shift schedule
* Use computers and quality systems for extended periods
* Support onsite supplier and manufacturing quality activities as needed
