* Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role.
* Knowledge of AS9100 standards and their application in maintaining quality assurance.
* Project Management: Managing schedules, coordinating audits, and leading quality initiatives.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
* Experience writing procedures, test reports, work instructions, and technical documents.
* Ability to perform in-process and incoming inspections.
* Ability to assist with internal and external audit scheduling and compliance activities.
* This position is onsite. Preferred Skills
* ASQ Certification.
* Background in manufacturing within regulated environments (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.).
* Experience developing a Quality Management System in an R&D environment transitioning into production. Professional Attributes

* Customer service mindset. Job Duties & Functions
* Assist with the generation of testing and qualification test instructions.
* Identify testing sources and equipment, and perform internal testing.
* Maintain test and quality records and samples.
* Observe external testing as required.
* Participate in scheduling internal and external quality audits to maintain AS9100 standards.
* Assist in developing and documenting quality metrics aligned with AS9100 standards.
* Track and follow up on RCCAs.
* Perform in-process and incoming inspections.
* Conduct quality audits and inspections as requested.
* Review and log training documentation.
* Assist with maintaining document control procedures.
* Support the engineering team with day-to-day quality-related tasks.
* Some domestic overnight travel may be required. Phyiscal Requirements & Environment
* Ability to wear required PPE, including respiratory equipment as needed.
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
* Ability to operate hand tools and departmental equipment safely.
* Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
