We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. We challenge what’s possible. From breaking the sound barrier to advanced tiltrotor systems. Today, Bell is shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering. And we want you.
We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V-280 Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) as part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell’s Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.

The Producibility Engineer understands advanced manufacturing technical principles, theories, and concepts to develop imaginative manufacturing technology on existing or advanced designs, concepts, processes, systems, and tools. Working under general direction, the individual possesses unique Manufacturing Engineering knowledge in specialty and advanced manufacturing technical areas in order to optimize the aircraft as designed for manufacturing while ensuring key performance parameters are met.
What you’ll be doing as a Producibility Engineer
- Drive execution of aircraft assembly and integration within the Integrated Program Team (IPT) environment.
- Optimize the air vehicle design for manufacturing while insuring adherence to Key Performance Parameters.
- Manage Supplier/Partners.
- Support design and integration activities, coordinating project deliverables and schedules, and reporting status to program management.
- Contribute to a broad cross functional team in the design of systems throughout the product design lifecycle including trade studies, detail design, engineering release, technical reviews, and revision change management.
- Manage interface between engineering and production by coordinating with the build team, Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC), manufacturing centers, suppliers, and teammates to improve aircraft manufacturability, sustainability, and affordability.
- Responsible for preparing and presenting technical performance, cost, and schedule material for major design and requirements reviews to program management and engineering technical community, including the Army Program Management Office (PMO).
