What are your contributions to the team?
- Investigate design build issues and develop structural engineering and instrumentation installation solutions
- Author temporary engineering to resolve build issues in a timely manner
- Dispositioning aircraft non-conformances including rework instructions. (MRB)
- Perform aircraft and engineering drawing investigation and coordination with affected engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance and operations manufacturing representatives.
- Design Flight Test engineering change requests and coordinate with work package owners
- Author engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions
- Design and Release Special Missions Engineering structural and systems installations
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited University.
- You have a minimum of 10 years industry experience
- You are a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) as per US ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Requirements
- You have experience in Special Missions or Afterspanet modifications
- You have experience supporting manufacturing and aircraft modifications
- You have experience as design authority approval for engineering
- You have experience leading a team of engineers (preferred)
