* Proficiency in C/C++ (C++11 or higher)
* Previous experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) working with a Real-Time Operating Environment
* Proficiency in Linux systems and real-time operating environments
* Experience with simulation systems
* Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred Skills
* Ada experience
* Full software development lifecycle experience
* Cross-functional or cross-disciplinary team experience
* Git, GitLab, and JIRA experience
* Agile (Scrum) experience Job Duties & Functions
* Develop real-time embedded software in C/C++ for HWIL and simulation-based systems
* Integrate software solutions into Linux-based real-time operating environments
* Support design, development, and execution of simulation and test environments
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement system requirements
* Debug, test, and validate embedded software performance in real-time systems
* Maintain software version control using established configuration management tools
* Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and execution
* Ensure compliance with defense and aerospace software standards and requirements Physical Requirements & Environment
