Electronics Test Engineer - Early Career

Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an entry level or early career Electronics Test Engineer for a position in Lufkin, TX. You will work supporting Department of Defense programs as part of a team entrusted with ensuring in-house manufactured circuit cards meet test performance requirements. Cable and flex assembly test areas are a secondary responsibility. Specific duties include:

• Test, analyze, and troubleshoot assembled circuit cards and their components, interconnects, and embedded programming functions using automated and benchtop test equipment
• Document troubleshooting, recommended rework, and retest results
• Allocate test resources to accommodate technicians, engineers, and production requirements
• Maintain Keysight i3070 and Acculogic FLS980Dxi automated test systems and test fixtures
• Communicate plans and status to engineering and operations leaders
• Consult and team with manufacturing and quality engineers
• Analyze, propose, plan, and implement test hardware and software upgrades
• Develop formal test procedure documents
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering Physics with electrical emphasis, or equivalent experience/combined education from an accredited college or university
• Familiar with digital, analog, and programmable electronic components and devices, their functions, and their interactions in basic circuits
• Understand schematics, utilize electronics test equipment, perform test procedures, analyze technical data, develop troubleshooting plans, and document actions and results
• Apply written and verbal communications, teaming, and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for build, test, troubleshoot, and innovate cycle
• Capacity to prioritize, and multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance

• Process Analysis: identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
• Software Development: Basic, Visual Basic, C, LabWindows/CVI, or similar
• Environmental Test Screening: utilize thermal chambers and vibe tables
• Continuous Improvement: identify and learn new skills independently and accomplish stretch assignments
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
