Lead the strategy, development, and execution of a new Anthem aircraft integration project including the transition and integration of new architectures and technologies. Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be the program engineering leader and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule, and technical issues and leading Anthem Avionics to it’s first Part 25 certification. You will lead a cross-functional team in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance for applications and integration of the Anthem avionics program.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead project engineering execution of the customer facing implementation of Anthem Avionics across multiple Centers of Excellence
- Work program strategy and alignment with GBE, CBT, PMO, and other leadership
- Customer support, collaboration, and negotiation experience
- Aircraft cockpit systems technology experience
- New hardware, software, and systems development, integration, and test experience
- Aircraft systems integration and applications experience
- Manage cost and schedule. Early problem detection and course correction
- Partner with GBE, CBT, external customers and engineering functional teams to enable business growth
- Lead cross-program activities/initiatives such as: Supporting the development of strategic roadmaps to deploy common features/mandates; Leading planning activities for lab and benches; Encouraging shared best practices between customer implementation of the Anthem CORE product
- Be a leader for project engineering transformation within IFS
- Mentor, coach, and otherwise train other project engineers in the organization
- Occasionally deep dive and act as a consultant for particularly challenging programs (beyond normally assigned programs)

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 15 years of experience leading engineering projects and/or functional teams

- Significant relevant experience in aircraft cockpit hardware and software products ((Anthem/EPIC / APEX / CORE products and common design and documentation strategy).
