As our Aircraft component Reliability Engineer within airline premises, you will be at the forefront, connecting with the customer and Airbus team to
Assessing, recommending and implementing the component maintenance data & component modification data issued by airworthiness authorities and OEMs
Measuring, analyzing and improving the components reliability performance
Coordinating with the Customer, Airbus business organization (Flight Hours Services), In Service Engineering, Airbus Program and OEMs, the organization of dedicated technical reviews for specific topics as required
Organizing and managing the monthly & quarterly meetings with the aim of presenting a status of technical topics to the customer whilst protecting the main interests of Airbus: Customer satisfaction and contract financial efficiency through improved fleet reliability.

For the scope of equipment within the customer contract, you will ensure that Airbus and the customer are aligned regarding the technical issues to be addressed and prioritized to improve component reliability and while protecting Airbus business:
Perform in-depth technical investigations in order to define short and long-term action plan
Implementation of the necessary process and its regular update according to business needs
Gathering, follow-up and trends monitoring of all actions identified after identification of top critical items
Definition/update/support of a dashboard/Visual Management support and any other reporting tool dedicated to the activity
Scheduling and management of the monthly & quarterly meetings
The follow-up of action embodiments with the Customer as necessary

This position is located within the customer (airline) premises in Vantaa.
The Airbus Team
We are a multicultural & worldwide team made of around 200 persons based in Europe, Asia and North America who delivers engineering services to increase aircraft operational performance, decrease maintenance costs and ensure continued airworthiness of our customer fleets.
Let’s talk about you – who is set to thrive in this position?
Graduation and technical skills
Educated to a 5-year degree level (or equivalent) specialized in aeronautical engineering or maintenance engineering
3 years’ experience in Flight Hour Services Engineering
3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and/or airline operations
Good knowledge of maintenance operations, configuration management and aircraft systems, reliability management principles, root cause analysis and investigations
Good knowledge of AIRBUS Technical publications: AMM/MPD/IPC/TSM/MMEL/ FCOM/SBs/TFU/VSB/SIL is beneficial but not mandatory
Good knowledge of AIRBUS Support and Services organization and related processes is beneficial but not mandatory
IT systems and tools: AMASIS, Skywise
Soft skills and behavioral skills
Language: English (Fluent)
Good communication & presentation skills: daily interface with Customers and Suppliers
Ability to work in multicultural teams
Good analytical skills (ability to manipulate figures) and synthesis skills (ability to summarize complex technical situations into simple recommendations)
Strong negotiation skills (resistance to pressure and sense of urgency)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
High level of autonomy (managed remotely from Toulouse)
Financial and contractual skills:
Understanding of Contractual obligations
Overall understanding of AIRBUS Supplier Support Conditions is beneficial but not mandatory
General understanding of financial aspects: return on investment, Business case,…
