Senior Advanced Software Engineer

Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $80-$85.11/Hour

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographical location, etc).

Responsibilities:

As a software engineer, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for the development and delivery of a complex system critical to our customer mission.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Masters degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

• Embedded Software in a Linux environment

• Qt/C++/UI expertise at mature production level

• Drivers and interfaces to COTS devices and FPGAs

• Experience with Optics/RF Devices
• Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle
• Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges
• Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas

• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

This position is fully on-site.While on-site, you will be a part of the Annapolis Junction, MD facility.
