Responsibilities:
- Perform complex assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, and modification of aerospace vehicle systems to support maintenance, upgrades, and compliance requirements.
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify systems by removing, replacing, or upgrading components to correct failures or implement design changes.
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment for operation and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot advanced pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
- Conduct validation and verification testing of systems and subsystems to ensure functionality.
- Document procedures, test results, modifications, and inspections in accordance with contractual and regulatory standards.
- Inspect completed work to verify flight-worthiness and conformance to quality standards.
- Train and oversee junior team members to ensure proper techniques and safety compliance.
- Work under general direction with a high level of autonomy.
- Some travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant aerospace systems or mechanical/electrical maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred Experience:
- Ordnance handling and qualification.
- Electrical systems experience (Electrician background or similar).
