Avionics Technicians are integral to ensuring the functionality and safety of aircraft communication, navigation, and surveillance systems, as well as the electrical components that power these systems. The role involves installing, inspecting, testing, and repairing avionics equipment and electronics, including communication and navigation radios, transponder and DME systems, weather radar equipment, and autopilot systems. Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing systems to the LRU or component level.

Responsibilities

• Install and inspect avionics equipment and electronics.
• Test and repair communication and navigation radios, transponder and DME systems.
• Maintain weather radar equipment and autopilot systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose systems to LRU or component level.

• Proficiency in aircraft maintenance and avionics.
• Strong troubleshooting and installation skills.
• Experience with avionics outside of the military.
• Knowledge of Garmin systems is preferred.

• Experience with Embraer Business Jets or Cirrus aircraft is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with systems such as Phenom, Embraer, Praeter, Legacy, Lineage, and Cirrus is advantageous.

Work Environment

The role is based in a hangar at Music City Airport, operating Monday through Friday. Some on-call or evening/weekend hours may be required, offering a dynamic and varied work schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
