The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.
Role Description:
We are seeking a creative and collaborative team member to join our dynamic HR team, and partner closely with departmental leadership and other designated hiring staff to source, pre-screen, and submit qualified candidates for a variety of positions locally as well as internationally.. Live AAR core values and ensure adherence to AAR and WASS policies and procedures, and affirmative action, and other sourcing and recruiting goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply both traditional and electronic recruiting practices and strategies for developing diverse pools of qualified candidates to include but not limited to: cold calling prospects, sourcing on AARs applicant tracking system, job boards, social media, on-line ads, and networking.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition team members and hiring managers to timely fill a variety of positions.
- Maintain a positive, proactive customer approach through cooperation and communication within the HR department, other departments within the program, and all stakeholders.
- Promote internal employee referral program.
- Accurately maintain recruiting activity database and populate required recruiting reports in a timely manner.
- Attend job fairs, networking, and diversity events, and other outside/after hour events to identify and recruit talent.
- Effectively recruit in a fast paced and competitive environment while adhering to strict deadlines, personnel policy and procedures, and federal and state employment laws.
