ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As Service Operations Specialist to assure SITAs competitive strength and business growth through the provision of the highest quality technical Service Operations to SITA customers. Perform all Service Operations activities according to SITA standards and procedures, maximizing customer satisfaction by the delivery of first-class support activities to provide the highest level of Service Operation availability, ensuring Systems and Products are properly configured and maintained to assist the Service Operations team to ensure service delivery quality is maintained through direct assistance in implementing and improving working processes and procedures.
What You’ll Do- Provide support for platform-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
- Monitor platform and network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Configure and maintain infrastructure components: servers, storage, virtualization, and backup systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Perform upgrades, patches, and capacity planning for platforms and networks.
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and future reference.
Who You AreTechnical Requirements
- Cloud: Azure, AWS
- Virtualization: VMware (VCF, VCD) – hands-on experience
- Storage: SAN and NAS management
- Backup: Veeam and Veritas background
- Networking: CCNA-level knowledge
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in platform and network administration with L2/L3 support.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant certifications: VMware, AWS/Azure, MCSE, RHSA certifications are highly recommended.
