Reports to: Portfolio Solution Manager

As a Solution Analyst – Subsidiaries, you will support HAS by Cathay, one of our subsidiaries which provides ground handling services to airline customers. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications to ensure successful delivery of software applications that align with our vision and goals. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and gain hands-on experience in solution design and implementation

• Plan and coordinate IT Operation projects to ensure timely delivery within budget
• Work with internal and external resources to design, build and implement IT Operation platforms and services
• Analyse requirements and assess solution options from a system perspective
• Support solution design and contribute expertise to ensure high-level design decisions are executable
• Collaborate across teams and departments to drive technology innovation and achieve business objectives
• Implement project management practices and ensure compliance with best methodologies
• Communicate and escalate risks and issues clearly, supporting management with action plans
• Contribute to technical specification development and perform hands-on technical implementation

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years in IT with at least 3 years in application development and support
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify patterns and generate ideas
• Knowledge in project delivery, portfolio management, change management, infrastructure development, vendor and financial management
• Proven experience in coordinating project tasks and multitasking effectively
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with ability to present technical information clearly
• Technical skills in software development (SQL, API and Java preferred)
