Job Title: Recruiter/Staffing Specialist
Job Description
The role involves researching and developing recruiting strategies to attract and recruit top talent. This includes recruiting, screening, interviewing, selecting, and placing job candidates best suited for specific requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruiting plans to support hiring strategies.
- Network and build rapport with colleges/universities, community organizations, industry contacts, trade groups, and employees.
- Partner, educate, and consult with hiring managers and HR leaders on recruitment processes, strategies, and expectations
- Determine applicant qualifications by utilizing behavior-based interviewing and assessment techniques, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Present pre-screened candidates to hiring managers.
- Assess potential candidates for fit within the position, including skills, education, experience, competency, and cultural alignment.
- Participate in hiring events and career fairs to source candidates.
- Avoid legal challenges by understanding and enforcing regulations related to fair recruitment practices, complying with all federal, state, and company policies and procedures such as OFCCP and EEO.
Essential Skills
- 2 years of recruiting experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage workload/priorities.
- Proficient in interviewing active and passive candidates and providing basic assessments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional business environment.
- Strong customer service skills, proactive communication, and commitment delivery.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated aptitude to work with internet-based services like Google, LinkedIn, Career Builder, Facebook, and Twitter.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Certified Internet Recruiter training - AIRS preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
