Position Summary:
The Order Administrator receives orders and performs the order fulfillment process. May specialize in specific product lines for accounts where relationships with customers are maintained to an effective level of satisfaction, maintains job contracts from aerospace and industrial establishments for manufacture of company products across product lines. The Order Administrator will be building and maintaining relationships with customers, providing quotations, negotiating with customers, and completing customer RFP’s.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages the life cycle of customer accounts
- Reviews of quotations received, and purchase orders for meaning and impact on Company regarding profitability, liability, export compliance, economic risk, and other factors affecting customer/company relationship
- Prepares price quotations or bids based on material and labor costs and manufacturing schedules and processes
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Enters new customer data and other data for current customers into computer database
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries, basic contract language interpretation, and other problems connected with the order fulfillment process including after-sales concerns of customer
- Manages customer returns
- Updates customer portals

- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Fluent with the MS Office suite
- 2-4 years of experience in aerospace account management

Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, finance, engineering, science, or related field of study
