Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary:
Calibration of all measurement and test equipment used for product acceptance, including test hardware, test software, and automated test equipment.
Requires inspection and identification of new equipment.
Calibration to specifications to assure accuracy and repeatability.
Validation of parameters affecting product quality
Maintaining traceability of calibration sources and records to the NIST.
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
Duties require basic computer skills in the Windows operating system and applications.
Reading of blueprints, electronic schematic diagrams, and product manufacturers manuals
Qualifications/Requirements
A working knowledge of the following:
electrical/electronic measurement techniques
electrical safety (120VAC / 220VAC 60Hz, and 400Hz 3 phase)
physical measurements such as temperature, torque, force, etc.
familiarity with basic quality techniques.
Must be able to use the following:
Eligibility Requirements:
Electronic Technical/Vocational School certificates or associate degrees from an accredited college related to electronic technology or a High School Diploma / GED with the equivalent in documented two years’ experience operating and testing electronic test equipment, meters, supplies.
Successfully complete a written assessment
