Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting sales success by managing administrative activities for assigned customers. You will act as a key liaison between our company, customers, and regulatory agencies, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service. This position involves both pre-award and post-award activities, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship management.
Customer Service Administrator Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate customer purchase orders for compliance with policies and regulations.
- Manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective fulfillment.
- Respond to customer RFQs with accurate pricing and delivery commitments.
- Enter and manage order details in the ERP system, providing acknowledgments to customers.
- Collaborate with sales and account managers to interpret contracts and agreements.
- Address past-due payments and recommend credit terms.
- Process warranty returns and ensure timely resolutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers through regular communication.
- Administer customer portals for returns, credits, and corrective actions.
- Support accurate customer forecasts and ensure export compliance.
- Validate customer scorecards and align performance metrics.
- Coordinate new product shipments and milestone billings.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-10 years in customer service or related roles.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of business administration, export regulations, and ITAR compliance.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Experience with pricing, contracts, and customer portals.
Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
