The Analyst, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), is a key contributor to the Signature Energy organization, focusing on SAF analytics and carbon data requirements. This role involves collaborating across Supply, Sales, Operations, Customers, and Pricing teams to analyze and communicate optimal SAF value-creation strategies.

As a critical part of the SAF optimization strategy, this individual will play a pivotal role in reporting, score carding, and driving business decisions through advanced analytics tools. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous situations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable to a dynamic and evolving environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. The ability to perform under pressure during unforeseen challenges, such as supply chain disruptions or operational delays, is crucial.

• Develop and implement analytics dashboards and tools to identify actionable business insights.
• Analyze and communicate SAF optimization strategies, including pricing, value creation, and performance metrics.
• Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly SAF reporting and score carding efforts.
• Manage and organize SAF sustainability documentation, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
• Support SAF registry initiatives for Book and Claim and physical gallon carbon attributes, including:
  • Registry agreements and relationships.
  • Cost tracking and data entry.
  • Documentation and inventory management for carbon attributes.
  • Customer access and information availability within registries.
• Assist in SAF pricing strategies for both physical gallons and Book and Claim programs, including developing and maintaining pricing tools.
• Support the global SAF supply chain and associated supply agreements for both physical and Book and Claim inventories.
• Contribute to the development of a 3–5-year SAF supply strategy.
• Collaborate on the creation of international Book and Claim systems in partnership with Accounting and Commercial teams.
• Take ownership of additional projects and tasks as identified by the Manager, SAF.
• Adapt quickly to evolving industry trends and organizational needs.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

• Prior industry experience in Sustainability, Renewables, or Aviation.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in analytics, finance, supply chain, or logistics operations.

Additional knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of SAF, sustainability initiatives, or energy spanets is a strong advantage.:
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software.
• Experience with developing and managing dashboards or analytics platforms.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and make data-driven recommendations.
• Flexible and resilient in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
