Job Description:

Tasks

  • Receiving accounting documents either physically or electronically and processing data and vouchers according to procedures, general accounting principles, chart of accounts, cost center structures and applicable country specific work instructions
  • Monitoring statuses of own open cases
  • Contacting customers directly, independently handling incoming/outgoing communication verbal & written in German
  • Checking or obtaining necessary authorizations according to the procedures
  • Initiating creation/changing vendor master data in accounting system
  • Managing communication with customers and customers’ business partners, providing necessary documentation, reports and analyses
  • Proactively supervising and reconciling the accounts to clarify open items in pending or current accounts
  • Monitoring discrepancies between the expected cost positions and the incoming invoices
  • Providing Information to the respective finance department or airport management teams
  • Estimating and settling accruals and provisions for invoices

*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

  • Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies in any disciplines
  • 1 year of experience in FI processes (SSC or BPO environment)
  • Good command of English – min. B1
  • German language proficiency – at least B1 level
  • Good command of all Windows applications
  • Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work
  • Very good communications skills
  • Analytical and conceptual mind-set
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Interpersonal/social skills
  • High precision, dedication to deliver the objectives on time
  • Team player
